SlideMyPics jScript SlideshowI wanted to add a slideshow to my site. Easy enough but I wanted it to also work on my iPhone and iPad. This of course prohibited the use of Flash. This made the job a little more difficult. There were several plugins claiming to do this but I had trouble with all of them at first, to the point of giving up and Flickr and began to research Google +. Same problem though, where was the HTML5 or jQuery slideshow. Back to Google to see if I can resolve this, which I did using Slide My Pics, but this was equally applicable to Flickr so no need to give up on Flickr where I have several thousand photos. You can see examples of these at my Photography site. The created code is copied and pasted into Web Page or Post, best done in HTML view. This post has was created by copying html code from my blogger and pasting into Weebly Blog page.

There is a lot of material about which camera is the best. Often it is just the one you have with you. I caught this mayfly as it flew beside me during a walk in the Worcestershire lanes around our village. The only camera I had with me was my iPhone.
Mid September we had a surprise opportunity to spend a week in the Scilly Isles. To get there we flew in a small 8 seater plane from Lands End and as luggage is very restricted, plus the fact we expected to do a lot of walking I decided to travel light with just my Lumix TZ10 and leave the heavy D90 plus lenses and flash etc at home. I actually found the experience quite liberating and added to the relaxation and sense of freedom inspired by the islands. Here is a selection of the photos I took.
